4 When the wire is full, re-twist the coat hanger and bend the hook into a loop (Fig 5). As an extra detail, you can hang a padded felt heart from the hook in the centre of the wreath, perhaps with a message embroidered on to it. The wreath shown used two pre-cut felt heart shapes, stitched together with a little stuffing in between.

Further Felty Ideas

• For a Valentine-themed wreath, try using pre-cut felt hearts in various shades of pink and /or red.

• To make a smaller wreath, thread a rainbow of felt balls onto a thinner wire.
